Who is NYCU?
NYCU was founded on the idea that, in a great university, people work across the disciplines to solve real-world problems.
At our university, putting this idea into practice requires integrating Chiao Tung’s strengths in information and communications technology with Yang Ming’s strengths in biomedical research.
It also requires contributing to fields located at the intersection of these research areas, for example, digital medicine and bioinformatics. And it requires training our students in such a way that the next generation will not be as constrained by disciplinary boundaries as the previous one.

2026.09The Yang Ming Dental Alumni Association belongs to every Yang Ming dental professional. We warmly welcome all alumni to join us and offer their continued support, and we sincerely invite your valuable suggestions as we strive together to make Yang Ming even better. Next year marks the 50th anniversary of the Department of Dentistry. The Alumni Association will work closely with the College to organize a series of commemorative events, warmly inviting alumni to return to their alma mater, witness Yang Ming’s transformation over the years, and reconnect with long-lost professors, classmates, seniors, and juniors.
